Have you ever thought of writing a book? is it a burning wish, (that slipped in, I just finished watching the Disney cartoon Wish}, desire that never leaves you, or something that comes once in a while, or do you already have stories that keep swirling in your head, looking for a way out.
Guys, I am here to tell you everyone can write. Everyone has a story in them just waiting to be written. Have you ever caught yourself daydreaming? I do it a lot. When I can’t sleep at night, when I’m bored, or when I just want to escape into another world. Is it only me? Oh, Ok then.
Daydreaming, for me, work much like reading books. I enter into a different world and I lost myself in it. And I love it.
Maybe one day I will write my day dreams, share them with the world. But for now, I am content in knowing that I can dream. And you can too, if you allow yourself. It’s the best gift. And writing? Start.
I have been writing for a very long time, since I was a child in fact, but I never seemed to be able to finish them, and I was sure they were not good enough to share with the world. You know that saying that we are our greatest critics? Too true.
Until one day when I decided the new story I just started had to be finished. And even though I felt it wasn’t good enough, I kept writing. I kept pushing myself until I finished it. And the feeling? It is indescribable.
So if you have ever dreamed of writing, then start writing. Write that story in your heart. Write your daydreams. Even when it feels like you are not making any sense, or you are not in the mood, or your head just feels blank… believe me, they all happened to me. Push through and write. And you will be surprised at the beauty that comes out of you.
Go on. I am rooting for you.

Lola.
